My name is Becky, I am a small licensed in home childcare in the Littleton, CO area. I am a childcare professional with 10 years of experience, and training in CPR, first aid, medical applications, and child development. I am a mom of four (Emma, Declan, Maggie, and Kian). We have two dogs, a cat, as well as chickens! My husband (Alex), our kids, and I love to do any sort of outdoor activity, go to the movies, and get together with our extended family and friends for game nights! We are also big Disney fans! My other passion is Interior Design, especially kid spaces.

More About Busy Bugs

Busy Bugs started in 2013 when I made the change from teaching at a childcare center. I wanted to be able to be home with my children, but I also still wanted to teach little ones. I like that I have more one on one time with children here, and am able to structure our day around the children's individual needs. I really like the Montessori approach and I have been trying to implement it into our home. I also love creating my own curriculum and planning hands on activities for the kiddos.

One of my main goals as a childcare provider is to provide a safe environment for children to learn and play and for parents to feel confident in their child's well being here in my home. I also strive to help build confidence in our little ones, they are truly capable of so much when given the opportunity.
